NAPSLO PAC

The NAPSLO PAC is committed to supporting candidates for the U.S. House and Senate whose philosophies and attitudes are consistent with the goals of NAPSLO, the surplus lines industry and the wholesale distribution system. NAPSLO member employees can contribute to the PAC online.

A recent Conning analysis of distribution costs concludes that wholesale distribution does not increase the cost of the transaction to the insured. The report, and accompanying FAQs, are available to NAPSLO members.

Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation

The Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation is dedicated to encouraging the educational development of all those interested in the excess and surplus lines business, to creating an understanding, and overcoming the misperceptions of the excess and surplus lines market. The Foundation accomplishes this by providing support to the ASLI designation, providing scholarships and grants to students, and by partnering with A.M. Best to produce the annual Special Report, U.S. Surplus Lines - Segment Review.
